Cat McSwain

Cat received a BS in Industrial Engineering from NC State and a Masters in Business Administration from Wake Forest University. Prior to starting My Dog Tess of the Triad, she was the owner/manager of Griffith Greenhouses, a retail garden shop in Winston-Salem. She also worked as a production control manager, facilities layout engineer and process improvement engineer for Lexington Furniture (now Lexington Home Brands).

In addition to running My Dog Tess of the Triad, Cat is a Member/Manager of Maplestone Construction, LLC which is a full service remodeler and custom builder in Winston-Salem, NC.

Through her analytical skills, Cat excels in assessing the true value of a property. She can aid a buyer client in determining the optimal bid for a property or assist selling clients in pricing their property to attain their goal, whether it is maximizing value or an expedient sale. Utilizing her knowledge of layout design and horticulture, Cat is able to aid the client in visualizing the full potential in a property.

Cat lives in Winston-Salem with her husband, 3 children, and Tess’s good friends - Daisy and Lily.
